Hot Issues

In order to remain responsive to market demands and to the changing needs of clients, we adjust the focus of our work accordingly. Currently, we are working on the following hot issues:

Urban Regeneration
Balancing accessibility, safety, security and environmental intrusion.

Micro-Simulation
A new way of modelling networks which can be used to test demand management measures (for example urban traffic control or development impact assessment), and is ideal for public consultation.

Network Safety Assessment

Strategic network and local area-wide safety analysis and target-setting – safety audit, conflict studies and liability assessments.

Public Transport

Transit system options including the assessment of bus stations, bus/rail interchanges, bus priority schemes, company travel plans, park and ride, and assessment of impact of street running light rapid transit using micro-simulation.

Partnership Approaches

Long-term relationships with clients to provide technical support, advice,  monitoring and reporting, including term, panel and call-off commissions with public authorities and private sector organisations.
